Daddy Rod

Daddy Rod

A native New Yorker, Daddy Rod is the co-founder of the ONYX Mid-Atlantic Chapter, where he served first as President, and later as Pledge Master. Rod has also moderated and presented for a variety of programs and events.

Rod earned his first title as Leatherman of Color in 2011. He is also honored and humbled to have served the Leather community as the American Leatherman 2017. Rod is also an alumnus of the MTTA 2008 Masters’ Training. He has previously served as a judge for a number of contests.
Rod is proud of winning the Pantheon of Leather Northeast Regional Award for 2014, and the Pantheon Man of the Year Award in 2018. Rod’s kink fetishes include spanking, ass play, flogging and fisting.

Master "Daddy" Zulu

Daddy Zulu

Master “Daddy” Zulu is a Leatherman who started his journey in kink ~1991 in Nashville, TN. In 1994, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and was active in PEP-Atlanta and the Sanctuary of A Dark Angel. In 1996 as someone active in body image awareness and embracement of bigger sized people, he created the size positive kinky group Anvil Dungeon International and served as the producer of the event Love and Leather (1996-1999). In 1997 he was selected as the first Regional Coordinator (Southeast) for The Leather Archives and Museum. After relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1999, Daddy Zulu became focused on social justice issues within the Leather Culture. He returned to the Southeast in 2018.

He is also known as a dance music historian and has DJed at mainstream and kink events, Leather bars, fetish clubs and major Leather events across the United States and internationally including the Dark Arts Festival, Fetfest and Folsom Street Fair.

He is the founder of The Leather Solidarity Collective and currently the Co Chair/Producer of the BIPOC and allies Leather Event UPRISE!

Daddy Zulu and girl sommer Misfit are a poly couple in a M/s dynamic that are active in the Leather Culture.

Daddy Zulu is a social justice activist and Leatherman and Co Founder of the Leather Solidarity Collective.

girl sommer is the 2005 titleholder of Southeast Boy. Together they live in an authority transfer relationship focused on love, adventure, and awareness on the issues that affect Leather culture.

Jo Arnone

Jo Arnone – Auctioneer

For over 40 years, Jo has been a powerhouse fundraiser, traveling coast-to-coast to raise money for countless charities. She’s been with Philly Leather Pride Night since Day One—our original and resident auctioneer—and there’s simply no one who can work a room like Jo!

In 2014, Jo was honored with the Leather Heart Foundation’s Million Dollar Heart Award for raising over $1,000,000 for organizations including: Brother Help Thyself, National Coalition on Sexual Freedom, Heritage of Pride, The Leather Archives and Museum, Project HOME, William Way Community Center, and so many more!
