Keeping education alive
The Producing Team of The M/s Gathering created this event out of a desire to bring our community a deeper, more meaningful educational experience — one where everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect, regardless of financial means.
Each year, we hold an auction during the weekend to fund scholarships for the following year. These scholarships help ensure that education remains accessible to all. Our Memorial Scholarship is dedicated annually to a community member who has passed — someone who embodied the spirit of service, learning, and community.

This year, we are honored to dedicate the Memorial Scholarship to Daddy Kim.
For over two decades, Daddy Kim dedicated herself to uplifting and serving the Leather community. Whether through her work as a Bootblack, providing security, mentoring others, or quietly supporting countless events, she gave of herself tirelessly — never seeking accolades, only striving to make a difference.
Her legacy lives on through every act of service, every moment of learning, and every person she inspired.
