Friday Night Keynote

Liza’s slave Jody

Liza’s devoted slave for 23 years, Jody (International slave 2011 & 2021) first satisfied her need for hierarchy in the USAF, then came out as a leatherdyke and slave in Los Angeles in 1980, founding Leather and Lace, an early leatherwomen’s group.
A leather “theater-geek”, Jody produced “This is Leather” educating/entertaining 2000+ folks at the 1993 Christopher Street West Pride Festival, the Ms. San Francisco Leather contest with Liza from 2009-2017, and now expresses that love as Show Director for South Plains Leatherfest and stage manager for Leather Reign. She and Liza have produced the Master/slave Retreat annually since 2011.
Jody has judged, keynoted, and taught extensively, being honored as MAsT International’s 2012 Presenter of the Year with Liza.
A long-time LGBTQ+ activist, she served on the boards of Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, Marriage Equality USA, and others. She enjoys membership in the Exiles, Portland Bad Girls and LTHR.
